Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 28, 2026
SteadyDay™ ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the SteadyDay™ mobile application.
Information We Collect
SteadyDay™ is designed with a privacy-first approach. We collect only the information necessary to provide our caregiving tracking service:
- Account Information: Email address and display name used for login and family sharing.
- Care Logging Data: Daily entries you choose to record, including sleep, meals, hydration, activities, behaviors, and notes.
- Device Information: Basic device identifiers for app functionality and crash reporting.
How We Use Your Information
Your data is used exclusively to power the SteadyDay™ experience:
- Generate daily predictions and insights based on your logged entries.
- Enable family collaboration features so multiple caregivers can share a care profile.
- Produce PDF reports you can share with healthcare providers.
- Improve app performance and fix technical issues.
What We Do NOT Collect
SteadyDay™ does not collect Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA. We do not collect Social Security numbers, insurance information, medical record numbers, or any clinical diagnostic data. SteadyDay™ is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption both in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We use secure cloud infrastructure with regular security audits. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your care logging data is shared only with family members you explicitly invite to your care circle. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used to improve our prediction algorithms.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may export your data as a PDF report. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@steadyday.co.
Children's Privacy
SteadyDay™ is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of SteadyDay™ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
